Motivational Minute: Change your words, Change your life

Hello. I am Habeeb Habeeb, CEO of BPC Inc., and this is your Motivational Minute.

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. The sign beside him said: “I am blind, please help.” Seeing that there were only a few coins in the hat, a man walking by took a few coins from his pocket & dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it over & wrote some new words. People passing & seeing the new words gave so much money that the hat was over‐flowing. Later he stopped back to see how things were going. The boy asked, “Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?” he man said, “I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but I said it in a different way. I wrote: Today is a beautiful day but I cannot see it.”

THE MORAL OF THE STORY: Both signs told people that the boy was blind. The first said the boy was blind & needed help but the second told people that they were very lucky that they were not blind.
