Make Mine Freedom (1948)
One of the most accurate depictions of America today was a cartoon made in 1948 by the Extension Department of Harding College. The cartoon, entitled “Make Mine Freedom”, shows what happens when an unsuspecting society sells their freedoms for ‘ism’. Watch for yourself and see just how close this 63 year old cartoon describes America today as it is being overrun by those who want to ruin our freedoms.


The Americans, by Gordon Sinclair – a Canadian Broadcaster
On June 5, 1973, following news that the American Red Cross had run out of money as a result of aid efforts for recent natural disasters, Sinclair recorded what would become his most famous radio editorial, “The Americans.” While paying tribute to American success, ingenuity, and generosity to people in need abroad, Sinclair decried that when America faced crisis itself, it often seemed to face that crisis alone.
